Welsh – because I am Welsh and I always wish I’d learnt more of it while I had the chance. I did three years at high school and took evening classes after that. It reminds me of home, where you can still regularly hear it spoken in the shops in north Wales.

I love the sound of German for some reason. Many people think it sounds quite rough, but I think it can sound very beautiful spoken by the right voice 🙂 Guess that’s true of any language though!

That depends what you mean by language! My favourite language in the conventional sense would have to be French (mainly because it’s the language other than English that I speak the best, but I also think it sounds quite nice). However, I’ve also been learning German and Welsh so quite enjoy those too. English is also pretty cool – learning other languages has helped me to appreciate English more for all its quirks!

My favourite programming language is probably Python – I love how simple it is yet you can do some really complex stuff with it. I use it a lot for my research.

A bit of a weird one, but I really like the sound of Danish.

But the language that I prefer to use is C++. 😛
