  Depends what you believe in.
  
  According to Darwin’s evolutionary theory, the first humans were created over a very very long process of natural selection. So in a nutshell, the environment selected the best fit to survive from a group of primates, then this group was again tested by their environment, and so on and so on for many many many generations. The end product was human beings 🙂 We can basically survive in any environment on Earth now, and are the first creatures to do so in space!
