  The Earth IS held up by the same gravity that holds us down 🙂
  
  Everything that has a mass (me and you included) creates some gravity. The Earth is made up of a bunch of pieces of rock and material which are all pulling each other by the gravity they create – together they make one very big mass which creates the gravity that pulls us to Earth.
  
  We also pull the Earth to us, but because we’re so so so small compared to Earth, we only pull it by a bit. Imagine an army of ants playing a tug of war with one elephant 😀
