      There are lots of different types of stars so they are made up of different things. Stars that are undergoing nuclear fusion (like our sun) are mostly hydrogen. A neutron star is mostly consists of neutrons, just like an atom’s nucleus. There is another type of star called a white dwarf. They are made up of mostly electrons.
