If the earth lost its atmosphere then life on earth would die as there would be no air to breathe. The oceans would boil away. Harmful radiation from the sun would hit the earth’s surface. Meteors and other space debris would start bombarding the earth as there wouldn’t be any atmosphere to burn it up. There wouldn’t be any ozone layer either, so you would get extremely burnt in the sunshine very quickly.
